| DIN EN 1044-AG104 (L-Ag55Sn DIN 8513), melting range 630 - 660°C, working temperature 660°C. amasan brazing alloy AS55 / AS55U is a high-silver containing brazing alloy with excellent mechanical qualities. It is suitable for soldering joints between steel, stainless steel, nickel and nickel alloys, copper and copper alloys, hard metals as well as for joints between the materials mentioned above amongst themselves. It is particularly used for seawater-resistant non-ferrous heavy metal alloys (corrosion resistant), in the food industry and in high vacuum technology (high capillary action). It is suitable for soldering joints at an operating temperature of about 200°C. |
